Counseling

Like life itself, psychotherapy is a process, not an event. Therapy is not something I do to you, but something I do with you. It is useful to think of the process as working to facilitate change and growth, and as you are no doubt aware, personal change depends on your commitment. I often tell people that in psychotherapy, you pay for a professional who is a neutral and who will listen carefully to your ideas and to challenge your thinking, perception, and behavior, in a safe environment for exploration.
