Patrick McFarlane, CSW, LLP
Patrick McFarlane holds masters degrees in both clinical social work and learning disabilities from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and Rackham Graduate School of Education. Mr. McFarlane is qualified by the State of Michigan Board of Psychology as a limited license psychologist and the Board of Social Work as a Certified Social Worker. In addition Mr. McFarlane has passed the national Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (DCSW) examination.
Mr. McFarlane began working in chemical dependency as a therapist, and directed an urban treatment program that included a program for pregnant women and children. Subsequently he worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations including the Navajo (Dine’).
In 1988 he founded ICARE/Chautauqua Programs which is a non-profit serving homeless and highly at risk adolescents through camping and adventure programs.
He consults with programs and writes both professionally and as a consultant. In 1999 he helped found a federally funded behavioral health network, BHWN.
